The beach clean

In term 3 on the last day we went down to Waikowhai Bay to clean up so more animals can live. We started to walk down and we were holding signs up that we took to the climate change march. We were going down the road and we had to stay on one side incase any cars comes. We arrived at the beach and got into groups and went with parents. Our groups went down the steps and we got seperated into different places on the beach.

We put our gloves on so that if there was glass or dirty things we could still pick it up. Some of us found some crabs under big rocks near the water. When we were finished I found heaps of glass and people were just trying to find crabs under rocks. I found a tyre under heaps of wet sand and it was so hard to get it out. I felt that it was a good thing that we did it because now more animals and the world has less rubbish. We went back to school and tidied up the class room ready for the holidays. Blog you later!!!
