Big foot Biking

On the 27th of November my class Manukau did biking with Henry and Caroline. They are from Big Foot Bike Adventures and first they told us what to wear and what not to wear too. They also taught us  how to wear the helmet properly like two fingers under your chin and over your eyebrow. They checked our height so they know what kind of bike you need. We started to get on the bikes and you have to go on your bike on the left side because of the road. The people that didn't really know how to ride a bike went on the other court so they got space to learn. We did laps around the court so they know how we are going. We also did looking back, calling out the number and indacate with your hand. Then we played a game and you have to try to not go out or bump into each other. We also learnt how to do your brakes and what the 4 things were when you get on a bike. The four things you need to check is the brakes, the wheels, the quick realeases and the reflector. Last they asked us what we learnt today and everybody got a pen and a rubber. Blog you later!!!

High jump

Before athletics, we were practising high jump for athletics day. We started at 95cm and worked our way up until we failed. We went all the way up to 1.11m but then the bell rang. I really like high jump and we did high jump the next day too. The middle school did high jump at morning tea and the seniors did it at lunch time to make it fair. There were only two more people left but then the bell rang and they needed to eat. Bjorn, one of our teacher aides also did high jump and he did it high like 3 or 2 metres and he was jogging even. I do the scissors kick but other people did back flop. Blog you later!!!

On the 31st of October we were making things that you have get to on our chomebook. I did the car trying to get to school but trees and poles were blocking the way. We also made thngs hat they can use like arrows and letters to. We had to put boxes and questions in it so they can answer. After we were done we had to give it to a buddy and they have try to get to school in the car. I did arrows so it can be simple for my buddy to try to get to school. I was nerly finished but I just needed to put the questions inside the box.
