Work in Lockdown
In Lockdown we have been doing some work. At home I have been doing work for the rest of the week and the teachers said we had to finish of some work. So for maths I have been doing Times tables and I know my time tables really good now. For reading I have been reading a book on my chromebook and I have been reading everyday. There is a really good site that you can read books and it is called worldstories. I really like the worldstories site and you can change the launguage too if you want. For writing I have been starting a story. My sister is cheking it and giving me feedback. It is about fortnite and how to play and what it is. I am very lucky to have a good sister that would check my work to see if it is good. Hopefully the lockdown isn't to long and stay safe.
Blog you later!!!
Ka pai Demitrius, what a fabulous start to your online, distance learning for Term Three! It's great to see that you've already been proactive about sourcing reading material that is beyond the tasks set by your teacher. I'll have a look at the Worldstories site - I'm always looking for new reading opportunities! Thanks to your big sister for supporting you with your learning, it's lovely to see that you have acknowledged her in your blog. I'll look forward to reading your next post. Stay safe and keep being kind! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat blog post, Demitrius! I hope this lockdown doesn't last long too. I will have to show Austin the World Stories sire, it sounds cool.
ReplyDeleteFrom Austin's mum :-)
Kia Ora Demitrius. It's Maddison From Hauraki. That sounds fun!! My favourite tasks were the NASA Crafts and the writing.

Hi Demitrius,
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you are keeping up with your school work!
What sort of books have you read so far?
Have ever read the Cherub series?
Keep up the awesome blogging :)
Hi Demitrius
ReplyDeleteWow, you have been doing lots of online work! Well done!
I'm lmpressed that you have been learning your times tables. When I was young I learned them too. I don't use tables every day, but I still know them all. They are locked in my brain.
I would be interested to read your 'Fortnight' story. Perhaps you could put it up on your blog once you finish it so those who are not familiar with the game can learn what it is and what you do to play.
Keep up the awesome work and stay safe and well.
