Flying solo

Flying solo

For Summer Learning Journey I had to compare and contrast two aviator (pilot) and their names are Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart. Jean Batten was the first person to fly solo (on her own) from England to New Zealand. Emelia was the first female to fly solo across the atlantic ocean, from Canada to Northern Ireland. They both can fly solo and they both are aviators. Emelia got lost and was never found in the Pacific Oceans. This is a photo of Jean Battern and Amelia earhart. Blog you later!!!

  1. Mōrena Demitrius, I hope you’re having a fantastic day so far!

Thank you for doing week one, day two, activity one! I really enjoyed reading it as I didn’t know much about Jean Batten or Amelia Earhart. Your post taught me some new facts about both pilots. Ka pai on adding some images too. Did you know that Jean would take a silk dress with her on her flights, so that she could look beautiful wherever she landed?! I reckon that’s pretty cool!

Have you been on a plane before? If so, where did you go? Do you think you’d like to fly a plane if you had the chance to?

Next time you use images from the internet, make sure you attribute the image - this just means copy the link from where you found the image and put it next to the image on the poster, so we can see exactly where you found it :)

Thanks for posting and keep up the awesome mahi!
    Eliza :)
